SARAH ROBYN FARRELL
I am a writer, environmental communicator, entrepreneur, musician and climate justice activist.
I am the creative director and founder of transparenCI, a creative agency that specialises in environmental communications and working with NGOs and ethical making a difference.
I am also the cofounder and creative director of Easy Eco, a company that makes going green easier for homes and businesses through products and services.
My other projects include:
- Creating video content for my Changemakers series
- Tapping into that journalism degree and writing articles for a number of Online platforms
- Writing and performing music that has a social and/or environmental message
- Secretary and Liaison for the African Climate Alliance
The rest of my time gets spent getting out into nature, experimenting with plant-based cooking, spending time with those I love, doing things that matter to me. Oh and then there are those more-than-occasional Netflix binge-watches. 😉

This is my personal definition of sustainability:
sus·tain·abil·i·ty | /səsteɪnəˈbɪlɪti/
The ability to nurture, sustain and love oneself in connection with nature, whilst having as little impact on the environment as possible. Aiming to build a better tomorrow that is inclusive of all beings and people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities and economic standing with an awareness of intersectionality.
What is intersectionality?
Originally coined by Kimberlé Crenshaw, it is“the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage.”
